Our Story
The Beginning
As a young 16 year old looking for a job, Ashley Webb, born and raised in Owensboro, was hired at the local coffee shop, Beyond the Brim. Little did she know that her passion and JOY would be found in this industry finding love for local businesses. Fast forward almost 20 years later and dreams are coming true. She currently owns and operates a cooking class and meal prep business, Joys Cooking Classes and Joy-Full Meal Prep. The dream of a coffee shop and Cafe is coming to fruition with Joy-Full Java and Juice.
Meal Prep, Catering and Cooking Classes
Over the years, Joy-full Java + Juice has expanded from what began with Joy's Cooking Classes to adding Joy-Full Meal Prep service into now a Coffee shop and Juicebar cafe. Our goal is to bring you a cup of JOY for your day as an escape from the world around you. We have added new items to our menu from healthy loaded Salads to freshly baked Cinnamon Rolls and specialty sandwiches for breakfast or lunch. Our coffee and espresso is sourced from a local roaster, Mylke. We love to use ingredients from local farmers and suppliers providing the freshest ingredients, made with LOVE!
Our class menus and schedule can be viewed and booked at www.joyscookingclasses.com . The Joy-Full Meal Prep can be pre-ordered by Saturdays at midnight with a Monday Pickup. We also offer Grab and Go meals and Take and Bakes throughout the week in the cafe side.
